Ebonyi State Governor Inaugurates Special Assistants On Security

The Governor of Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria, Chief Francis Nwifuru has Inaugurated 21 Special Assistants on internal security, urging them to guard against the escalation of crises and killings in the various communities of the state. 

The Inauguration took place at New Executive Council Chambers, at Government house Abakaliki, the State Capital.

Governor Nwifuru said his Government is going to surmount all the challenges in the State.

He said; “We are very much aware of the security challenges facing the State but just like I said during my inaugural address that we are competent to surmount all of them.

“Security Challenges will soon be a thing of the past in the State. These Special Assistants are going to be in charge of different Localities, if anybody is killed in any of the local Government Areas of the State, such Special Assistant will not only be arrested but will also be prosecuted.”

Governor Nwifuru urged the Security Special Assistants to work very hard to ensure that the State is in order.

The Governor also Inaugurated Dr Boniface Nwankwo as the SA in charge of Documentation and Mr Leo Oketa to be in charge of Social Media.

On behalf of other Special Assistants, Mr Felix Nwamini thanked the Governor for appointing them into his Government.

Nwamini said; “We are very grateful to you and we are going to deliver on the mandate giving to us.”
