Motive

The Senator explained that “the motive is to guarantee the future of our tomorrow because the best investment is the one done on humans”

“We are having challenges of social vices today in our society because those Youths involved in it are not educated, if they had opportunity of being Educated,  probably, they couldn’t have indulged in those social vices

” We are Also making this intervention to make sure that  no student from Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone drops out from school”

Senator Nwebonyi used the opportunity to urge the beneficiaries to make sure that the purpose of the money was not diverted, as diversion of that money means diversion of their destiny.

Traditional Title

The Senator was also given a traditional title of ‘Oshimini 1’. The title means that the Senator has been supplying the needs of the Senatorial Zone unstoppably like that of the Ocean.

The Lawmaker dded that “before I entered into power, I have been into constant touch with my people. I have been sharing their concerns in all respects. As a legal Practitioner, I saw the need to provide succour to less privileged and I started building houses for those living in non standard houses. And that probably might be the reasons why God has been growing us from position to the other. The title they gave me today was not out of place based on the way I have been providing for them and identifying with them

“I want to tell you that this is just a begining of what I am going to do for my people as I am yet to do more

“As I speak to you, I have over 6 kilometers of roads for Ebonyi North Zone and 76.8 kilometers of roads connecting Ebonyi and Benue States”.

The construction of the roads will be flagged off soon.

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Mr Francis Nwifuru was present during the award of the Scholarship by the Senator and encouraged the students to make good use of it.

A member of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mrs Chinyere Nwogbaga and the Council Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Area, Mr Chinedu Uburu were also there and thanked the Senator on his humanitarian services more especially as it concerns women emancipation.
