Ebonyi State PDP Affirms Unity, Progress, Ready For Governance In 2027

The People’s Democratic Party PDP in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has  strongly affirmed the Unity and Progress of the Party in the State.

The stakeholders of the Party across the 13 Local Government Areas of Ebonyi State strongly affirmed that the State is for PDP and therefore not deterred by the defection of some members to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC as it  focuses in mobilising people to reclaim power in the 2027 general election.

This was Contained in the Communique issued after the Party’s Stakeholders meeting which was read by the former Ebonyi State House of Assembly Member, Mr Humphrey Nwuruku in Abakaliki the State Capital

Constitution

Nwuruku who represented Ikwo North State constituency in the 9th Assembly under the platform of PDP said  “we call for the unity of stakeholders and members of the party in the 13 Local Government Areas of the State, in ensuring the progress of the Party in line with the constitution of the Party.”

“We call on the members that took the party to court to refrain from such habit and seek the party’s internal dispute resolution/mechanism in the interest of the party.”

“That we re-affirm our support and solidarity to the leadership of the Party in the State ably led by His Excellency, Senator Dr. Sam O, Egwu, CON. We further commend the way and manner that he has piloted the affairs of the Party in Ebonyi State,” he explained.

Other stakeholders of the party who also emphasised on the Unity and progress of the party were Mr Zachaeus  Ifeuwabundidi Ogbuefi and Mr Pascal Okoro among others.
