The Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mr Francis Nwifuru has emerged the winner of the All Progressives Congress APC at the Primary Election in the State.
The Chairman of APC electoral Committee from National office Abuja, Professor Emmanuel Kayinde stated this while announcing the result of the Election at Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium Abakaliki the State Capital.
Professor Kayinde said all the due processes in line with the party’s constitution was followed.
“As Power confered on me as the Chairman of the electoral Committee of this APC primary Election, Francis Nwifuru, having scored the highest number of votes, I hereby declare him the winner of the election”
“Francis Nwifuru scored 743 votes, Rosemary Ofoke- 63 votes, Julius Ucha- 22 votes, Elias Mbam- 10 votes, Edward Nkwegu- 8 votes, invalid votes- 8, vote not casted is 1.”. he said.
The State Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC, Mr Stanley Okoroemegha said he was pleased with the outcome of the Election.
The Speaker, Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mr Francis Nwifuru, who is now the APC Gubernatorial flag bearer in the State expressed joy and Promised to lead well if elected as governor in 2023 election.
