Ebonyi Traditional Rulers Endorse Nwifuru as Gubernatorial Aspirant

Traditional Rulers in Ebonyi State have endorsed the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mr Francis Nwifuru to become the next Governor of Ebonyi State in 2023.

The Chairman Ebonyi State Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Charles Nkpuma stated this when Mr Speaker visited the Traditional Council at Onwe Road Abakaliki the State Capital.

Nkpuma said Ebonyi State has been blessed with good leaders “hence our blessing to this Young Man, Mr Francis Nwifuru to be the next Governor.”

“It’s not that we the Traditional Rulers don’t love other Aspirant but there is something in this young man that made us to support him to be the Governor, “Nkpuma stated.

Also the Chairman Izzi Traditional Rulers Council Eze Sunday Oketa said the endorsement was to avoid over heating up the polity, thereby causing more insecurity in the State.

Oketa urged Mr Nwifuru to run all inclusive Government when he becomes the Governor.

The Gubernatorial Aspirant, Mr Francis Nwifuru Promised to restore the dignity of Traditional Institutions in the State.

“Every Traditional Ruler in the State must have a befitting Royal Palace which I will build for them if I become the Governor, so that they can measure up with their counterpart in the Northern and Western Nigeria,”Nwifuru Promised.

Mr Nwifuru stated that the the welfare of every Ebonyi Man is of great importance to him.
