2023: Ebonyi Youth Forum endorses assembly Speaker as guber candidate

A non-Governmental Youth organization, popularly known as Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum (INYF), has given its support to the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mr. Francis Nwifuru to become the Governor of Ebonyi State in the 2023 General Election under the Platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).

The Youth Organization also gave its support to the immediate past Commissioner, Ministry of Capital City Development in Ebonyi State, Barrister Onyekachi Nwebonyi to also emerge as the Senator, Ebonyi North Senatorial District.

The National President of the Forum, Comrade Ben Nwovu disclosed this to Journalists during their Quarterly meeting held at Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum Secretariat in Abakaliki the state’s capital.

Peaceful primaries

Nwovu commended the Governor of the State, Engr. David Umahi and the entire Security agencies for ensuring peaceful Political Parties Primaries.

“Unlike others States, Ebonyi State was one of the peaceful States during the primary”

“We thank Umahi and other Stakeholders in the State who still have the conscience to maintain equity in the State, Supporting Izzi Man to become the next Governor of the State” Nwovu added.

Nwovu warned that no Izzi Man should accept to be deputy Governor in the next General Elections. “Enough is enough”.

Senatorial zone

Comrade Nwovu informed that among all the Local Government Areas that make up the Zone which are Abakaliki LGA, Ebonyi LGA, Izzi LGA and Ohaukwu LGA, “It is only Ebonyi LGA that has not produced a Senator, all other Local Government areas earlier mentioned have produced even three times. “He who goes to equity must go with clean hands”. He said

The Senatorial Candidate of the Zone under  the platform of All Progressive Congress APC, Barrister Onyekachi Nwebonyi Promised to represent the people of the zone very well at the National Assembly.

Nwebonyi urged all Izzi Sons and Daughters to be united in order to always achieve their common goals.

Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum finally adopted the Speaker, Mr Francis Nwifuru as their Sole candidate for Governorship and Onyekachi Nwebonyi for Senate.
