The Gubernatorial Candidates of Young Progressive Party YPP in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria, Dr Sunday Opoke has denied collapsing his political structure as alleged to support the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC.
Dr Opoke made this clarification while interacting with Journalists in Abakaliki the State Capital.
He said he will never collapse his ambition of becoming the next Governor of the State just to support another candidate.
“I, Dr Sunday Opoke, the Governorship Candidate of Young Progressive Party YPP in Ebonyi State has not stepped down for any political party, and will never do Such a thing. if anybody alleged that I have stepped down to support APC Governorship Candidate, let such person produce his evidence”
“I am contesting this election to win in order to liberate the people of the State and to make life good in all ramifications”
He urged the people of the State to come out en mass to vote for him in the forthcoming Governorship election in order to bring lasting peace in all parts of the State.
“Our Government will bring ease of doing business in the State. It will also end all communal crises going on in the State”
“All Ebonyi people will have access to basic amenities if I am elected into power,” Opoke said.
The Governorship Candidate said he is going to welcome all political parties in the State after wining the election under YPP to help in exchanging the ideas that can boost the image of the State.
