Ed-al-Adha: Niger state police command to provide adequate security

The Nigerian Police Command in Niger State North Central Nigeria, has reiterated it’s readiness to provide adequate security during the Ed -al-Adha celebration across the State.
The Commissioner of Police Niger State, CP Monday Bala Kuryas who mentioned this in a statement by his spokesperson,DSP Wasiu Abiodun said the command has already mobilised operational assets, and put in place adequate security arrangements ahead of the celebration.
“The Command has mobilized its operational assets and placed visibility policing, stop and search and show of strength with other security agencies to ensure air tight security arrangement before, during and after the festivity.’’ added CP Kuryas
CP Kuryas further said the command has plans to deploy sufficient Police personnel and tactical teams such as PMF, CTU, EOD and Anti-kidnapping unit of the Command to Eid praying grounds, recreation centres, parks, and other public places across the State.
“Operational order has been issued to Area Commanders, tactical Commanders and DPOs of their specific responsibility during the festivity and ensures visibility policing with constant supervision of officers and men deployed for the season”.
The Commissioner of Police, who further felicitated with Nigerlites and Muslims for the Eid-al-Adha celebration which connotes sacrifice, love and tolerance as he enjoined the followers to abide by its symbolism, appreciated Nigerlites for their support and urged them to continue to cooperate with the Police and other security agencies in the State by providing adequate information towards a crime-free society.
