Edo APC Primary: Ondo State Guber Aspirant Congratulates Idahosa On Victory
A member representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency in Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Peince Jim Odimayo has congratulated Mr Dennis Idahosa over his victory at the Saturday’s All Progressives Congress, APC governorship primary in Edo State
Report says 43 years old Idahosa, who is also a Member representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, garnered 40,483 votes to become the candidate of the APC in the September 21 governorship election.
Odimayo, APC governorship aspirant in Ondo State, in a statement signed by his media aide, Mr Victor Adedeji on Sunday in Okitipupa, also commended APC for supporting youthful candidate.
He also lauded Abudulahi Ganduje led National Working Committee, NWC for a hitch-free primary and President Bola Tinubu for allowing a process that makes the election a huge success.
The philanthropist also applauded members of APC in Edo for their unwavering support towards the youth candidate as he emphasised the significance of unity within the party in state.
“The legislator’s victory serves as evidence of the younger generation’s aspirations and capabilities, instilling optimism for a future where adept leaders emerge and flourish.
“The election of the governorship candidate underscores the significance of youth engagement in politics and shows the cohesive strength that surfaces when communities unite behind spirited leaders for societal advancement.
“I express gratitude to the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, and President Bola Tinubu for their roles in ensuring a seamless and trouble-free electoral process.
“Their dedication to fostering a transparent and fair election is acknowledged, reflecting a commitment to democratic principles.
“I celebrates Hon. Idahosa’s triumph in the primary and extend my heartfelt wishes for his victory at the September governorship poll in Edo State,” Odimayo said.
