The Office of the Honourable Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, has announced that the Minister’s WhatsApp number has been compromised and is now in the hands of unauthorised individuals.
In an official statement released by the ministry’s Director of Press, Folashade Boriowo, the public has been advised to disregard any messages originating from the hacked account. Boriowo emphasized that the situation has been reported to security agencies for further investigation.
“We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause and urge everyone to disregard any message of request received from the said number until further notice,” Boriowo stated.
The ministry is working closely with relevant authorities to address the issue and has encouraged citizens to remain vigilant against potential scams. Members of the public are also advised to report any suspicious activity related to this incident.
