EFCC appoints VON Correspondent Brand Ambassador
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has appointed Voice of Nigeria’s (VON) Correspondent in the Presidential Villa, Timothy Choji as its Brand Ambassador.
Chairman of the anti-graft agency, AbdulRasheed Bawa made the appointment on Thursday, during the weekly briefing organised by the Presidential Communications Team.
The appointment followed a question posed by Mr Choji to the EFCC Chairman, which motivated him to swiftly appoint the VON Correspondent as EFCC’s Brand Ambassador.
At the end of the briefing session, the EFCC Boss matched his words with action by decorating Mr Choji.
The appointment now warrants Mr Choji to expose corrupt tendencies wherever he finds himself.
Timothy Choji has been covering the Presidential Villa for Voice of Nigeria since 2015.
Before his deployment to the Villa, he served as Head of VON’s North-East Bureau comprising Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe States.

He holds a Masters Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication.
