President Bola Tinubu has lauded the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Ola Olukoyede, describing him as a courageous and professional public servant committed to advancing Nigeria’s anti-corruption fight.

In a birthday message issued by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu felicitated the EFCC Chairman, Mr Olukoyede, commending him for instituting a strategic framework that has strengthened the nation’s fight against cybercrimes and economic sabotage.

He lauded the EFCC Chairman for establishing the Special Task Force on Currency Offences, a key initiative dedicated to combating naira abuse and curbing the dollarisation of the economy.

The President highlighted the EFCC chairman’s leadership for reinforcing the commission’s mission to rid the nation of economic and financial crimes, adding that his work reflects a deep sense of duty and integrity in service to the nation.
