The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said it recovered N152.09 billion and $386.22 million from various cases in 2021.
Mr Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC Head, Media and Publicity, made the disclosure in a statement issued in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital on Monday.
He said the anti-graft agency also recovered £1.182 million Pounds and 1.723 million Saudi Riyal during the year under review.
Other recoveries are €156,246 Euro, 1,900 South African Rand and 1,400 Canadian Dollar between January and December 2021.
“The recoveries also include a digital currency component with a huge amount of Bitcoin and 0.09012 Ethereum,” he stated.
Uwujaren said that EFCC’s headquarters in Abuja made most of the recoveries with N67,250 billion, $375.66 million dollars and £1.152 million pounds.
