Eid al-Adha: Nasarawa Speaker Felicitates With Muslims, calls for peace

As Muslims celebrate this year’s Eid-al -Adha. Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Balarabe Abdullahi has congratulated the Muslim community on the celebration of this year’s Eidel -Kabir calling for sustained prayers for peace and progress of the country.
This was contained in a statement sign by the Press Secretary to Speaker Jibrin Gwamna.
He quotes Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi as calling on Muslims to reflect on the significance of the period which is a sacrifice to extend hands of love and friendship to one another especially the less privileged.
Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi called on all Nigerians to tolerate, love, and live in peace with one another irrespective of religion, political or ethnic differences to build an egalitarian society.
The State Number Three Citizen called on religious political, traditional, and community leaders to always preach peace and unity among their people just as he called on people to always be law-abiding, pray and support leaders at all levels to succeed.
He, therefore, enjoined Nigerians especially Muslims to use the period to also pray for God’s intervention in security and other emerging challenges facing the country.
