The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Yushau’ Ahmed has urged staff and Corps Members to embrace selfless service as Muslims celebrate this year’s Eid al-Adha,
In his Eid al-Adha message, Brig Gen Ahmed felicitated with the Muslim Umma, thanking Almighty Allah for the grace to be alive and for the opportunity to be part of the celebration.
He emphasised the importance of selflessness, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim, and urged staff and Corps Members to imbibe this spirit in the discharge of their mandate.
“One important lesson of the celebration is the abolition of selfishness in our lives. As you offer your sacrifices, I pray that Allah purifies your heart, and guides and protects you and your loved ones. May Allah grant you and your family happiness and good health,” he said.
