Eid-Al-Adha: Police assures residents of adequate security in Ebonyi State

The Police in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has assured all and sundry of adequate security during the Eid-Al-Kabir festival tommorow Tuesday 20th July, 2021.

The Commissioner of Police in the State, CP Aliyu Garba made this Known while addressing Journalists on the level of Police preparedness to ensure peaceful atmosphere during the ceremony in Abakaliki the State capital.

Garba said Police would work with other security agents to ensure crime free Eid-Al-Kabir celebration.

The Commissioner added that “Police in Collaboration with other security agencies are going to put force together in order to ensure most peaceful celebration. We must know that there are other Eid-Al-Kabir festivals ahead. Don’t involve in crime to celebrate it“.

The CP advised individuals to celebrate without fear.

“There is nothing to fear for, all arrangements are in place to stop anyone who might have in mind to cause mayhem during and after the festival.

He called on Individuals to raise alarm any time they see movement capable of causing insecurity in the State.

Moreso, Security is everybody’s business and should not be left alone with security agencies. Garba added.
