Eid-el -Fitr: Nasarawa Speaker Felicitates With Muslims, Urges Nigerians To Remain Hopeful
As Muslim Communities are set to celebrate this year’s Eid-el -Fitr to mark the end of the Ramadan Fast, Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Balarabe Abdullahi has emphasized the need to sustain the prayers and other good virtues exhibited during the holy month to build an egalitarian society.
The Speaker in a message signed by his Press Secretary Jibrin Gwamna felicitates with Muslims on successfully ending the month-long Ramadan fast and the Sallah festival.
Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi called on believers to use the period to sustain their prayers for the nation to overcome its emerging challenges and also to pray for the success of the upcoming new administration in the country.
While congratulating Muslims for successfully coming to the end of the Ramadan Fast, the Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen called for support for the less privileged ones in the society to give them a sense of belonging.
Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi enjoined citizens to use their diversity as a source of unity and strength calling on youths to remain committed to constituted authorities and champion the course of peace, unity, and development in the society.
He further calls for support to government and leaders at all levels to succeed charging religious and community leaders to continue to preach peace and unity among their people.
The statement added that the Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Balarabe Abdullahi who is currently in the holy land of Saudi Arabia performing Lesser Hajj wishes all Muslims a successful celebration.
