As Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, the member representing Lavun, Mokwa, and Edati Federal Constituency of Niger state, Mr. Joshua Audu Gana has in the spirit of the season, donated ₦12 million to the Muslim community across Lavun, Mokwa, and Edati to support their Sallah celebrations.
He expressed deep appreciation to his constituents for their prayers and support, and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering quality representation.
“I remain humbled by the trust you have placed in me. My dedication to the welfare and development of Lavun, Mokwa, and Edati remains resolute. Together, we shall continue building a future filled with hope, growth, and opportunities for all.”
“May this Eid bring joy to your homes, peace to our communities, and progress to our nation. May Allah accept our sacrifices and shower us with His mercy and grace.”
He also extended heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah.
The lawmaker also called on Nigerians to embrace the spirit of peace, unity, love, and sacrifice as a path to national renewal and progress.
In his Sallah message, he extended warm greetings to Muslims across Niger State, especially his beloved constituents.
“This season is a powerful reminder of our shared values, faith, obedience, compassion, and sacrifice, which can guide us toward a more united and prosperous nation.
” Eid-el-Kabir, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, commemorates the unwavering faith of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who was willing to offer his son in submission to Allah’s command”. Mr. Gana said.
He urged all Nigerians to draw inspiration from the profound act of sacrifice noting that the true essence of the festival lies in the willingness to make personal and collective sacrifices for the good of the communities and our country.
He emphasised that “especially in these challenging times, Nigeria needs the healing power of unity and the strength of a shared national purpose”.
Mr. Gana added that things will keep getting better.
