Eid: Kano Deputy Governor Calls For Unity, Reflection

As Muslims worldwide mark the sacred festival of Eid al-Kabir, the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim faithful, urging them to use the occasion for deep reflection, unity, and the promotion of peace.

In a statement released through his Press Secretary, Ibrahim Shuaibu, Abdussalam, described the festival as a profound reminder of sacrifice, obedience, and devotion to Allah. 

He called on the Muslim Ummah to embody the values of tolerance, compassion, and selflessness that define the spirit of Eid el-Kabir.

The Deputy Governor also congratulated the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the National Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabi’u Kwankwaso, praising their leadership and dedication to the state’s progress.

Abdussalam extended his best wishes to Kano pilgrims currently performing Hajj in Saudi Arabia, praying for the acceptance of their spiritual efforts and their safe return home.

Reiterating the commitment of the Abba Kabir Yusuf administration to good governance, the Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and people-oriented policies in driving sustainable development.

He called on parents to remain vigilant and proactive in raising morally upright children, stressing that responsible parenting is vital to building a just and prosperous society.
