Ekiti State Plan to Implement Cluster Farming

The Governor of Ekiti State, Southwestern, Nigeria, Biodun Oyebanji, has assured residents that his administration is consulting with stakeholders, including traditional leaders, to implement a cluster farming system that will guarantee improved productivity, access to resources and markets.

He made this known in an address to the people of Ekiti State in his New Year statewide broadcast, promising to take advantage of the success attained by his administration in its first year in office and expand the scope of development for the benefit of the Ekiti people.

Oyebanji further expressed ‘optimism’ that the nation would experience economic stability in 2024 and that Ekiti State would experience an improvement in security, infrastructure, and government services

We are hopeful that the economic outlook of the nation will be stable and some of the macroeconomic policies will begin to yield the desired results. We are very optimistic that 2024 will be a year of positive economic resurgence for the country.”

According to him, the state has experienced a giant lift in the last one year, and his administration is committed “to improving the standard of living of the people of the state” with investment in key sectors.
