The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has adjourned Collation of result from the remaining one Local Government which is Ishielu till tomorrow Monday 20th March, 2023.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner REC, Mrs Onyeka Ugochi abruptly announced the adjournment due to inability of the Collation Officer in Ishielu Local Government to present the result at the State Collation center.
The REC said the results from the Ishielu Local Government will be reviewed.
She said the Collation will start by 10am tomorrow.
It would be recalled that out of the 13 Local Government Areas of the State, the results from 12 local Government Areas had been announced, where All Progressive Congress APC won 9 local Government Areas, All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA, won 2 LGAs, while PDP won 1 LGA.
