The Candidate of the New Nigeria’s People’s Party, NNPP for House of Assembly seat in Edo State has urged the people to vote for credible, accessible and capable candidates in Saturday’s poll.
Mr Sanni Kafeel is the candidate of the NNPP, in Etsako west Local Government Area Constituency 2.
Mr Kafeel urged the people to vote for the party in the election, to ensure that dividends of democracy touch every nook and cranny of the constituency.
He said; “For many years we have been preparing for this day. Thank God we have successfully presented what we will do to all the wards in constituency 2 and a lot of people are interested in our candidacy for so many reasons. They believe in us and we will not disappoint the people.”
He said if elected as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, “he would represent the interests of youth and women.”
Mr Kafeel however called on the youth to come out en mass to vote for the candidacy of their choice on Saturday.
He said; “I would like to advise that everybody should be security conscious of where they go. What you do and your surrounding. I urge the security personnel, the police, the Nigeria Army and Civil Defence Corps among others, to do their very best in keeping people safe and making sure that everybody is allowed to exercise their franchise.”
Mr Kafeel also reiterated his party’s commitment to working with security agencies in ensuring free, fair and credible elections.
