Election Petition Tribunal Affirms All Progressives Grand Alliance Reps Candidate’s Victory

The National Assembly Houses Elections Petition Tribunal sitting in Awka, Anambra State has dismissed all the charges petitioned by Chief Andy Azike of Labour Party (LP) against Engineer Dominic Ifeanyichukwu Okafor FNSE, of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)on the National Assembly election of 25th February, 2023.
In a judgement delivered on the petition No.EPT/AN/HR/19/2023, the court flawed all the charges levied against the first respondent in the matter for lacking merit and substantial evidence.
In his response to the judgement of the court, Engineer Dominic Okafor thanked God who has chosen him through the votes of the people of Aguata Federal Constituency and appreciated his constituents who have elected him at the polls, while pledging his commitment to serve their interests.
He termed it ‘New Dawn Is Here.’
He equally enjoined Chief Andy Azike to join him as a great son of Aguata to move Aguata Federal Constituency to greater heights.
