The House of Assembly candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) , Mr Felix  Iyalome condemned the movement of the collation of results and announcement of results to a different location.

He noted that the collation of the results outside the constituency 2 is not constitutional and the PDP would not accept it.

“This is totally unacceptable and we will stand to defend our results that were revealed yesterday by the party agents. “  He said.

According to Dr Iyalome,  “The election that took place yesterday, the results released by the  various  party agent in the 5 wards of  Etsako west,  revealed  that I Dr. Felix Iyalome won the election overwhelming However, what we’re seeing now is that one former governor of the state,  is right now manipulating the results in favour of the APC candidate and these my people will not accept, I Felix the candidate will not accept  addition to this they are  doing the collation of  the result  outside  the constituency  traditionally constituency 2 results are collated at Azama Primary School in Uzairue, which is the collation centre for  constituency 2 estako West local government area.”

PDP leader in Estako West Mr Kenny Asekhome said the party would do everything possible to defend their vote and claim their mandate.

“This is totally unacceptable and we will stand to defend this our mandate must be retrieved our mandate must be announced and it must be announced in Azama primary school. “  He added.
