The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Adamawa State, Hudu Yunusa in a just concluded press briefing, said collation proper in the state will commence by 8:30 pm.
At the time of the briefing by 18:40 Pm, the Commissioner said out of twenty-one local government areas in the state, only seven local governments turned in their results.
According to him part of the delay was due to distance as well as the late counting of results in some areas.
He said in all the polling units in the state, a report of irregularities occurred only in one polling unit where the presiding officer didn’t use the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System machine and the electorate protested.
Mr Yunusa said fresh voting has already been conducted in that polling unit on Sunday.
