The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has apologized to customers for the inconvenience and disruption of power supply due to the industrial action embarked upon by the National Union of Electricity Employees.

The company’s Spokesperson, Bode Fadipe in a statement assured all its customers that all hands are on deck to resolve the issues that prompted the action.

Mr Fadipe”s statement came shortly after the Union shut down the company’s electricity facilities causing almost total darkness on its electric consumers in some areas in Abuja and its environs.

The Union is demanding payment of all its upstanding entitlement to its workers.

The Union had earlier given seven days ultimatum to the AEDC management which expired on November 19 before embarking on the action, emphasizing that the strike action would continue until its demand is met.
