Emir Sanusi made the call in his palace in Kano as the state holds councils polls, urging residents to as a matter of importance uphold and preserve the peace the State has been enjoying as he reacted to developments around the conduct of the Kano Local Government elections going on on Saturday October 26.

Emir Sanusi said, “all of those who love Kano will agree with me that there is nothing we need more than preservation of the peace and security of the state. All of those who see to create mayhem and violence are enemies of the state. Many of them are instigating from outside when there is breakdown of law and order, It is our children who are killed, it is our wealth that is destroyed, it is our establishment that are damaged.

“We all recall what happened months ago when miscreants were brought in and paid to create damage worth millions to be replaced in addition to human lives that have gone forever.”

Emir Sanusi urged the people of Kano, parents, wards heads, village heads, Imams, district heads to call the youth to order for them not to be used by enemies of the state to create cahos which could lead to destructions and loss of lives.
