Emirates moved closer on Wednesday towards a potential agreement to buy dozens of Airbus (AIR.PA) A350-1000 jets.

This comes after narrowing differences over performance and guarantees in talks with engine maker Rolls-Royce (RR.L), industry sources said.

Ethiopian Airlines was set to announce an order for around 10 of the smaller A350-900 after talks with Rolls-Royce at the Dubai Airshow that focused on service pricing, they said.

All companies involved are yet to comment on the development.

Holding from 13-17 of November, the Dubai Air Show offers an exclusive line-up of over 180 aircraft ranging from business jets, drones & UAV’s, commercial airlines, military jets, helicopters and others.

The show said on its website that this edition, offers an opportunity to witness the future of transportation as “electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft take center stage at the static park.”
