The president of the Nigerian Public Office Holders association has advocated for innovative leadership strategy in Africa.
The president of the association, Dr Moses Deola Eseyin who stated this in an address during the 2023 African Strategic Leadership Summit held in Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital, emphasized the pressing need for innovative leadership across Africa.
He urged leaders to transform and effectively manage government activities to enhance governance and achieve success on the continent.
Dr. Eseyin stressed the importance of addressing leadership challenges faced not only by Nigeria but by many African countries.
He emphasized that effective leadership entails more than occupying a position; it requires delivering promises to citizens and strategic collaboration to prioritize national objectives.
Vice President of the association, Dr. Ibrahim Dikko, highlighted the significance of loyalty, ethics, and asset management in attaining sustainable development goals within Nigeria.
He urged the government to plan ahead and allocate resources effectively, including establishing a commission for carbon-efficient funds to protect the nation’s forestry.
