Falconets captain assures of victory against South Korea

Nigeria’s Falconets have promised victory Sunday night against South Korea in their second FIFA U-20 World Cup encounter.

Speaking with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) website, team captain Tosin Demehin said her team mates wanted  nothing short of victory.

“We have our pattern and we have our system of play,” she said.

“The type of players that are here, they are the type that are ready, focused and determined to do Nigeria proud.”

Demehin – who plays for Nigeria’s Rivers Angels – said it would be a dream come true if the Falconets could make it all the way to become Africa’s first winners on the global stage.
