Family announces burial plans for Saint Obi
The family of the late actor Obinna Nwafor, popularly known as Saint Obi, has announced the burial arrangements for the movie star.
In a flyer released during the week, the family said he will be laid to rest on Friday, August 18, in his birthplace of Umuezealaeze, Alaenyi Ogwa in Imo State.

The flyer reads: “The Nwafor family of Ogwa, Imo State, cordially invites you as Our Superhero goes home. Obinna Nwafor Saint Obi, Our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and son.
”The funeral service and interment will hold at Saint Obi’s family home, Umuezealaeze, Alaenyi Ogwa, Imo State.”
The thespian passed away on May 7, 2023, in Jos after battling with an undisclosed ailment.
Born on November 16, 1965, Nwafor majored in Theatre Arts at the University of Jos. He ventured into acting in 1996. In 2001, Obi produced his first movie titled, ‘Take Me to Maama’.
He also acted in many movies including, ‘State of Emergency’, ‘Sakobi’, ‘Goodbye Tomorrow’, ‘Festival of Fire’, and ‘Heart of Gold’.
