Family Planning: NGOs Review Strategy to Improve Service Delivery

A non-governmental organisations, the Challenge Initiative (TCI) and Devcom has organised a one day media review meeting aimed at looking at the challenges and prospects of reporting family planning towards improving effective service delivery in Sokoto State.

 

Reviewing last year’s activities, the State TCI Manager, Dr Bello Abubakar Kilgori, said the meeting was to reviewed activities of the organisation for effective implementation of the project.

 

Dr Bello Kilgori highlighted success stories, challenges and lessons learned while reporting family planning in sokoto state.

 

He said, “Media group would continue to employ more modalities to sensitise targets beneficiaries of family planning in all the benefitting local government areas.”

 

He called for sokoto state government to intensify efforts in supporting the TCI/Devcom activities in order to rapidly and sustainably scale high impact practices and other interventions with a view to reaching urban communities in the state.

 

He applauded the media focal group and other stakeholders for being the leading state across implementing states in the country.

 

The group also discusses extensively on shared ideas and experiences in a bid to ensuring effective service delivery within the period of the project.
