Residents of Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, were at seen at 7am searching the list of the print out names at the Jiwa ward to be double sure of the polling unit to cast their vote.
Many that saw their names were filled with excitement in readiness to exercise their franchise.
The electorates are of good conduct at the moment, and the atmosphere is peaceful .
There are heavy security patrol teams moving around the town to ensure law and order, while men from various security agencies are deployed to most polling units visited.
The INEC adhoc Officers at the jiwa ward said accreditation commenced by 8: 30am.
Meanwhile, INEC Officials arrived by 9:25am at Gwarinpa Galadima Charlie boy gate polling unit 099 , area 06 ward 05 , no voters and party agents on ground.
According to our reporter, Iquo Williams, Election materials arrived at 9: 35am, there are no voters on ground at City model gate 2 Gwarinpa and the number of the registered voters are just three, INEC officials are still on ground waiting for the voters to come out and cast their votes.
