The Coordinator, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC) Chief Felix Obuah, disclosed this in Abuja on Wednesday, after the FCT Executive Committee meeting chaired by FCT Minister, Mr Nyesom Wike.
Obuah noted that, the procurement of the earth-moving equipment will ease the work of the department of development control under AMMC.
According to him “Today, we sought the approval for the procurement of some critical earth-moving machines and equipment for the Department of Development Control under AMMC.
The procurement was in favour of Matrak Nigerian Ltd and was approved by the Council with a due period of three weeks.”

He explained that the equipment was not targeted for demolition, but for the smooth operation of the development control and AMMC.
