The Authority of the Nigerian Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, has commenced the construction of 10.5 kilometres of access roads within Karsana District in the Abuja Municipal Area Council.
The roads, which include N11, N16, N40 and SILS 03, are designed to service the Renewed Hope Housing Estate.
The project, which is expected to be completed within a period of 18 months, would further enhance the rapid development of the district, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Flagging off the project in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, the FCT Minister, Mr Nyesom Wike, said the initiative marked the fulfilment of promises made to residents under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Wike emphasised that funds had been provided to ensure timely delivery, noting that the roads would open up the area to real estate investment and other economic activities.
Flagging off the construction of arterial roads on Friday, the FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike said it signalled the fulfilment of promises made to the residents, especially the infrastructural development of the FCT.

Wike noted that the roads, when completed, would boost the real estate development and other economic activities in the area.
According to him, the provision of access roads is critical to the rapid and sustainable development of any city.
He, however, assured the contractor of the availability of funds to enable the prompt execution of the project in the interest of the residents.
On her part, the Acting Head of Service, Nancy Nathan, described the project as a strategic intervention that would ease traffic congestion and provide a vital link between Karsana and other parts of the city.
She emphasised that the FCTA remained committed to projects that promote economic growth and leave enduring legacies for the residents of Abuja.
The acting Head of Service also reiterated that the FCT Administration remains resolute in delivering projects that touch lives, promote economic growth, and leave enduring legacies for generations to come.
