FCTA Partners with Private Sector to Host Awards

The  Nigerian Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) is planning to partner with Private Sector under the aegis of FCT Friendly Corporate Organizations for the hosting of its 2021 Annual Staff Recognition Awards scheduled to hold on 9th April, 2022.
The administration said the gesture was aimed at motivating and rewarding staff of the FCT Administration who have been working tiredly to keep the Territory running over the years.
Speaking during the meeting between the authorities of  FCTA and the leadership of FCT Friendly Corporate Organizations, the Permanent Secretary of FCTA, Mr. Olusade Adesola explained that the Administration deemed it necessary to reward personnel of the Administration.
These were personnels who have been making daily sacrifice for the development of the City.
Service Delivery
He said the exercise would spur other staff to step up their service delivery to the FCT Administration.
The Permanent Secretary who expressed delight over the invaluable contributions made so far by members of staff to the  growth and development of the Territory over the years.
He said he was particularly elated with the efforts made by the front-line Covid-19 officers which has placed FCT in number one position among all the States  of the Federation in Covid-19 Vaccine Administration in the country.
He listed some of the advantages the prospective Organisations stand to benefit by identifying with the Project to include: Letter of Recommendation, Priority for Patronage, mileages in form of branding to the Organization, amongst others.
The Acting Director of Reform Coordination and Service Improvement Department, Dr. Jumai Ahmadu reeled out the various categories of the awards for beneficiaries of the 2021 Edition of the Staff Recognition Exercise to include: Staff of the Year, Customer Friendly SDAs, Post-humous Recognition of deceased Staff, Outstanding Leadership, Special Recognition, Auxiliary Staff, Public Service Integrity Award, Best Performing Staff from Corporate Bodies and Development Partners, Medal for Exceptional Public Service, Medal of Star of Bravery, etc.
Arab Contractors, Global Civil and Building Construction Nigeria Limited, COAN West Africa and CGC who were present at the meeting have all identified with the Project.
