The Federal Government under the ecological office has provided a recycling plant with work reaching an advanced stage in completion for Nasarawa State to recycle all waste materials in the state for business.
The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Musa Ibrahim, disclosed this in Lafia, shortly after the month of July environmental sanitation exercise.
Acccording to the Commissioner, “There is a plan to recycle all waste materials and turn it to wealth in Nasarawa state.
“So, already we have off-takers on ground that are ready to buy the commodity after the recycling. We therefore advise the people of Nasarawa State to continue to comply with our directive because dumping of waste materials in water channels is not good” he added.
The Commissioner further applauded the people of Nasarawa State for complying with the directive towards ensuring a clean environment for good health in the State.
He further stated that about 18 violators for today’s sanitation excess have been arrested and charged to court for sanction.
