FIFA will unveil the updated match schedule for the 2026 World Cup on Saturday, just under 24 hours after the final draw produces the tournament’s first-ever 12 groups of four teams.
The announcement will be made during a live global broadcast from Washington at 12:00 p.m. EST (1700 GMT), confirming venues and kick-off times for all 104 matches of the expanded 48-team competition.
The World Cup will be held across the United States, Canada and Mexico next June and July.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino will lead the presentation alongside former players, with officials from the 42 teams already qualified and those still competing for a spot expected to attend.
According to the governing body, the post-draw allocation process is designed to ensure optimal conditions for players and fans while aligning match times across multiple global time zones.
The final schedule will be confirmed in March once the last six qualification slots are decided through FIFA and UEFA playoffs.
The 2026 World Cup, the first to feature 48 teams and 16 host cities, has already sold nearly two million tickets.
