Filmmaker Niyi Fagbemi Showcases Nigeria’s Beauty at ‘Naija In Motion’

Lagos State came alive as filmmaker and visual storyteller Niyi Fagbemi unveiled his “Naija In Motion” Exhibition, celebrating Nigeria’s landscapes, festivals, and everyday life through stunning visuals.

The two-day showcase took attendees on an immersive journey into Nigeria’s culture and heritage, all captured through Fagbemi’s lens.

Renowned for reframing African narratives, he presented a curated collection of motion pictures and photographs under the theme “Naija In Motion.”

The exhibition highlighted Nigeria’s dynamic spirit and moved beyond stereotypes to reveal its beauty and diversity.

The audience included art lovers, cultural enthusiasts, creators, and members of the diplomatic and business communities, all drawn by Fagbemi’s reputation for authentic storytelling.

Fagbemi, whose work has gained international recognition—including a video with over 100 million views—shared his mission:

He said; “My goal has always been to showcase the true essence of our country. This exhibition is a celebration of Nigeria, one day at a time, through light and motion.
