Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu has commissioned the runway of Wilberforce Chuba Okadigbo International Airport in Ebonyi State.
She commissioned the runway immediately when she landed at the airport at Onueke in Abakaliki, the State capital.
The wife of the President after the commissioning left to Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium where she will address Ebonyi women as they mark the grand finale of Ebonyi Women’s Day for 2024.
The wives of 23 Governors had on Thursday during their 2024 Forum of Governors’ Wives retreat at the New Executive Council Chambers awaited the arrival of the President’s Wife.
The theme of this year’s Ebonyi Women’s Day is ‘Uplifting Women for Sustainable Development’.
