Following their 2-1 defeat to Germany at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, the Flamingoes have vowed to respond.

The Nigerian girls opened their campaign with a 2-1 defeat against Germany at the Pandit Jawaharlal Stadium, Goa.

Miracle Usani gave Nigeria a first half lead, but Svea Stold and Mara Alber gave the Germans the win.

Alvine Dah-Zossu says the team will bounce back,

“Sadly, we couldn’t win, we gave our all but it wasn’t good enough to earn us victory,”Dah-Zossu said.

“It’s not easy to be on the losing side but we will pick ourselves up and bounce back against New Zealand.”
