Football enthusiast launches Academy in FCT

A Nigerian football enthusiast, Engineer Saidu Waziri has launched a Football Academy by the name Virtual FC Academy.

The Academy was launched on Sunday evening at Old parade ground Arena, Area 10 Garki, in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.

According to Engr. Waziri, the aim of the Academy is to help young and natural football talents to achieve their respective goals in choosing a career as a professional footballer.

“The football Academy is geared to ensure that Nigeria’s Sporting image, precisely football receives a huge boost as well as to help young talent achieve their dreams.”

” I want to see Nigeria’s football grow in a dynamic form. The vision of the academy is to discover more natural talent as well as to help them uniquely pursue their career,” Saidu Muhammad Waziri, President/Manager Virtual FC Academy said.

“The project runs an open-door policy that accommodates able talents but has an age limit for the selection ranging from age 19-23years old.” He reiterated.

According to the Academy Sporting Director/Tactician, Ahmed Ibrahim“My hope is that many of the players here are going to make it so that they can achieve something for themselves and their immediate society,” he added.

Meanwhile, the new Team outplayed Zone 1 FC in a friendly match after winning 5 goals to nil on Sunday evening at Old parade Arena.
