Former Governor of Borno State, Ali Modu-Sheriff has praised the leadership qualities of Nigeria’s Vice-President, Kashim Shettima.
Modu-sheriff made the remarks while speaking to State House Correspondents soon after he paid a visit to the Vice President.

The former Governor noted that he had a good working relationship with the Vice President some years back therefore; he paid a visit to the VP because God has elevated him to become the number two citizen of Nigeria.
“It is important that I visit the Vice President who is my younger brother who I have worked with very closely. Today he is the Vice President of Nigeria. I came to bless his office.
“As the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I wish him well. You know, God is wonderful. Today I am a very happy man. Somebody who worked with me for more than 10 years closely, today he is the number two citizen of Nigeria I handed over to him as Governor of Borno State.
“He worked with me at various levels of governance and he has exhibited good qualities of leadership from time immemorial. And God by the blessing of His Excellency the President has taken him as his running mate. So I’m a happy man. I have come to bless his office and wish him well,” he said.
