Former Commissioners and House of Assembly members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State have decamped to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), throwing their weight behind the government of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Operating under the auspices of “Solution Frontiers”, the group joined the APGA movement at the government house, Awka where they vowed to support Governor Soludo’s second term of four years.

The Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Political Matters, Dr Alex Obiogbolu, while receiving the group, revealed that the administration of Governor Soludo still has a lot to offer to Anambra people. He said that the system has been designed in such a way that only one political party exists in an administration per time.

While stressing that it is best to support the government from the inside, Dr. Obiogbolu pointed out that the door into the new APGA which is well structured, is wider for other people to join.

He assured them of their warm welcome, noting that they all have the enormous experience APGA needs. He emphasised that the key thing is to continue to pursue avenues to change the state, which Governor Soludo is doing quietly in all sectors of the state economy.

The decampees offered their unalloyed support to the Governor’s vision for the state.
