The Tari Oba Foundation concluded the year with a meaningful initiative dedicated to supporting the elderly in the Kaiama community, Kolokuma Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Southern Nigeria.

In line with its focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 4, and 5, the foundation organized a door-to-door medical outreach to address the health and welfare needs of the elderly.

The outreach provided essential services, including vital health checks, distribution of basic medications, and referrals for further medical treatment.

In addition to healthcare support, the foundation distributed welfare packages and extended financial assistance to caregivers, ensuring elderly individuals without family support received much-needed help.

The owner of the Foundation, Mrs Tari Oba said it remains committed to offering care, compassion, and support to the elderly, especially those facing financial difficulties.

She therefore called on others to join its efforts to ensure all elderly individuals receive the attention they deserve.

As the year drew to a close, the foundation expressed deep gratitude to its partners, wishing them continued success in all their endeavours. “May kindness, compassion, and community guide us into the new year.”
