styling, marital relationship and political administration before the introduction of Western culture.
“The geographical locations, languages, food and drinks, fashion and style, literature, music, names, mores and values, all serve as means of identity.”
He added that the Foundation aims to promote African culture and tradition through an open call beauty contest and award in order to ensure that future generations of Africans are not cut off from their highly treasured roots.
“It is against this backdrop, that The African Heritage Foundation Nigeria is organizing the event to showcase the rich African cultural heritage inherent in sons and daughters of African and African descents from the age bracket of 18 to 26 and African historical figures for award nomination.

create a platform of Cultural Rebirth in Africa and Diaspora; showcase the rich Cultural Heritage of African attires; for the restoration of true African values and reward excellence. Hence, we are in this to dissuade the African youth from immoral and indecent dressing; reinforce the fact that black is beautiful and worthy of celebration and encourage and reward Africans and Africans in the Diaspora who have contributed to the upliftment of mankind through culture.”
Odudele, added among all this, the event seeks to raise funds to cater for the less privileged, orphanages, victims of war, civil conflicts, natural and disasters in Africa.
