France To Deploy 40,000 Police Officers

Interior Minister Gerard Darmanin has given some short statements to journalists in the last few minutes, where he said that 40,000 officers will be mobilised across France tonight.

Yesterday, only 9,000 were deployed. However, a state of emergency is not about to be called, he said.
