Fuel Scarcity: “We deployed over 488m liters of PMS last week” – NNPC

The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited has said it evacuated 488.94 million liters of Premium Motor Spirit across the country last week.

This is contained in a weekly update of fuel evacuation published by the company on its Twitter handle.

“The Weekly National PMS Evacuation & Dispatch Report for the week 11th to 17th March, 2023 can be found below,” the NNPC tweeted, as it shared a graphic of the breakdown.

The report showed a breakdown of deliveries made across the country and the depots they were evacuated from. 

The NNPC said it was working to put an end to the current scarcity being experienced in the country.

Earlier, the corporation attributed the scarcity to restrictions as a result of the general elections.

It however said it has increased supply to independent marketers to ensure the highly demanded product is available for users.
