Nigeria’s leading digital infrastructure solutions and services organization, Galaxy Backbone Limited (GBB), has announced that it has earned the prestigious Tier IV Certification of Constructed Facility (TCCF) for its Data Centre from Uptime Institute Professional Services.

This includes global MSECB certifications in Management systems: the ISO 9001:2015 standard – Quality Management Systems (QMS), and the ISO 22301:2019 standard – Business Continuity Management.

According to a statement by the Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications, GBB, Mr. Chidi Okpala, this esteemed certification recognizes Galaxy Backbone’s dedication to delivering the highest standards of reliability, security, and operational excellence in its Cloud and Data Centre operations.

The Tier IV certification, the highest level offered by Uptime Institute, signifies a facility that offers 99.995% availability. It affirms that the Galaxy Backbone Data Centre meets stringent criteria for fault tolerance, redundancy, robust operational processes, and enhanced security, providing unparalleled service to its clients.
