The National Working Committee, (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC), has described the Court order by the Kano State High Court suspending its National Chairman, Mr Abdullahi Ganduje as fraudulent.

The NWC disclosed this to Journalists when APC Ward Executives paid a solidarity visit to Mr Ganduje at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The National Legal Adviser of the Party, Professor Abdulkarim Kana said that one of the alleged plaintiffs, who is also an APC legal adviser from Ganduje’s ward Mr. Haladu Maigwanjo has distanced himself from the purported suspension and court case.

We don’t know where all this is coming from. Our preliminary investigation shows that there is fraud” he said.

In addition, unfortunately, they have gone too far by taking the fraudulent documents circulated, to all of you. We are also hearing that they used the same court to obtain an order of the court. We have not seen the order, but we have heard about it.

“In addition to the complaint that was brought to the police, the Ganduje ward executives are also going to the National Judicial Council to submit a petition against the Judge who granted the ex parte order” Prof. Kana said.

While distancing himself from the suspension saga, Mr Maigwanjo said that the 27 party executives from Ganduje’s ward are all in support of the National Chairman. They called on the NWC to thoroughly investigate the matter.

Similarly, the APC National Chairman Mr. Abdullahi Ganduje said those who purportedly suspended him were imposters with the motive of creating confusion in the party and ensuring the Party loses in the 2027 general election.

Controversies in democracy and politics are variables which are constant. Therefore, I am not surprised but what is important is the authenticity of the variable” he said.

Mr Ganduje called on members of the party to exercise patience as such saboteurs will soon face the long arm of the law.

The Kano State High Court had granted an order restraining the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, from parading himself as a member of the party.

The ruling was granted by Justice Usman Na’abba as an ex parte order, meaning that the lawyers to Mr Ganduje and the other adverse parties sued in the case did not participate in the hearing leading to the issuance of the order.

The judge heard only the plaintiff’s lawyer.
